ATLANTA — LexisNexis® Risk Solutions announced that it won multiple honors for its fraud and identity solutions and leadership at the 2022 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards and 2022 Fintech Breakthrough Awards, each recognizing the company for the second consecutive year.
LexisNexis Risk Solutions won across three categories in the 2022 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards. LexisNexis® ThreatMetrix® is the gold winner in two categories: Cybersecurity Industry Solution - Financial Services and Cybersecurity Product - Fraud Prevention. The Cybersecurity Excellence Awards judges and voters also named Kimberly Sutherland, vice president of fraud and identity strategy, Cybersecurity Woman of the Year. Additionally, LexisNexis Risk Solutions was named Best Fraud Prevention Company in the 2022 Fintech Breakthrough Awards.
By combining physical and digital identities, including device and behavioral biometric insights, the company’s suite of fraud and identity management solutions provides insights to customers so they, in turn, can make crucial risk decisions for their businesses. In turn, businesses can apply the appropriate level of security-related friction for every interaction across the customer lifecycle to prevent fraud before it happens. LexisNexis Risk Solutions is constantly innovating, utilizing advanced analytics with a robust fraud and identity risk signals network to develop new solutions that improve fraud prevention strategies and operational efficiency and reduce fraud losses and false positives.
The 2022 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards honor individuals and companies that demonstrate excellence, innovation and leadership in information security. Recipients receive the award based on the strength of the nomination and the popular vote by members of the information security community, both via ratings and comments.
The 6th annual FinTech Breakthrough Awards program recognizes the breakthrough companies and products in the global financial services and technology industry. With more than 3,850 nominations this year, the competition was fierce for every award category.
“It’s an honor to receive recognition from the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards and Fintech Breakthrough Awards for the second year in the row for our outstanding work in fraud and identity,” said Grayson Clarke, senior vice president, LexisNexis Risk Solutions. “Our fraud solutions combine physical and digital identities globally to create unique and powerful insights. These honors only serve to strengthen our resolve to keep innovating for our customers.”
Since joining LexisNexis Risk Solutions in 2006, Kimberly Sutherland has played a key role in the company’s commercial market strategy for consumer fraud analytics and authentication strategies, including driving the development of innovative identity management solutions for businesses, government agencies and financial institutions.
Continued Clarke, “Kimberly’s contributions to the fraud and identity space have been impactful, from serving on the board of Women in Identity to continuing to expand the fraud and identity portfolio in functional and geographic reach. We are grateful for and proud of her achievements.”
