Jonathan Meindel is the Director of Life Underwriting Innovation with LexisNexis Risk Solutions. In his current role, Jonathan serves as a forward-thinking strategist and collaborator with experience reengineering the life insurance purchase experience. He uses his deep domain expertise in mortality risk assessment leveraging both medical and behavioral data to help carriers integrate new technology and capabilities into their processes to streamline their workflows.
Prior to joining LexisNexis Risk Solutions in 2022, Jonathan held various roles with New York Life over 18 years. In his last position there he served as Corporate Vice President and led a team of business analysts and user acceptance testers focused on leveraging technology to improve the customer experience, grow sales, increase efficiency and optimize mortality results. Jonathan holds the Certified FALU and FLMI designations. He graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and later earned an MBA in Management from Baruch College on a part-time basis while working for New York Life.
