ATLANTA (April 1, 2014) – LexisNexis® Risk Solutions today announced that Alisoun Moore, Senior Director, Health Care Strategy and Development, LexisNexis, will be moderating a panel of state government health IT experts on the use of identity authentication and analytics to ensure only qualified beneficiaries and providers are enrolled in state Medicaid programs.

Why: The Affordable Care Act resulted in an influx of new Medicaid recipients, and along with it, the potential for criminals to take advantage of the system and use stolen or synthetic identities to apply for Medicaid benefits and to be providers.
