ATLANTA — LexisNexis® Risk Solutions announced today that it has been named as the recipient of 2018 the Business-to-Nonprofit IMPACT Award presented by the Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta (CVC). The award honors businesses that collaborate with non-profit organizations on programs or projects that have significant measureable results.
LexisNexis Risk Solutions was recognized for its Student Immersion Program, which was offered in partnership with two technology-focused nonprofits: 48in48 and the TAG Education Collaborative. The program provides metro Atlanta students with the opportunity to develop their technology skills, work alongside industry experts and give back to their community. The Student Immersion program also gives participants real world project experience and presents examples of how professionals can devote their time and talent to improving the community.

The award was announced at the 21st Annual IMPACT Awards luncheon event on September 12, which celebrates philanthropic companies that dedicate time and resources to fulfill their corporate social responsibility.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions will offer the next installment of the Student Immersion Program at 48in48ATL, October 12 – 14. The event will help 48 nonprofits better serve their communities with 48 websites, all in 48 hours.
