Improve Your Assessment of Small Business Creditworthiness

Determine credit risk on small businesses with thin credit profiles.

The U.S. has nearly 32 million small businesses.1 Many need financing to grow but have difficulty getting loans from traditional lenders. Lenders would like to pursue their business but may lack the necessary insights to determine whether the business meets their lending criteria.

Data on these small businesses and their authorized representatives may be limited or not exist at all because they’re self-financed, newly formed, or too small to register in credit profiles. The good news is that now there’s an alternative to traditional business credit scores that can help inform lenders and allow them to consider small businesses as potential borrowers/clients.

Expand Your Addressable Market

LexisNexis® Small Business Credit Score with SBFE Data™ and LexisNexis® Small Business Blended Credit Score with SBFE Data™ gives you the information and insights you need to score small businesses that have little or no traditional credit information.

Benefits

Determine whether a small business meets your lending criteria with our small business credit scores. Both are non-FCRA products that help meet your need for intelligence. With the data they provide, you can:

  • Automate lending decisions across the customer lifecycle from origination to monitoring, upsells and collections
  • Grow your target market by scoring small businesses that have little to no credit information
  • Build relationships with “undiscovered” businesses that have potential to become valued customers
  • Better manage risks by differentiating between businesses with similar traditional credit profiles
  • More profitably manage your portfolio
  • Reduce delinquency

Features
