Peter J. Forcelli is a decorated law enforcement veteran with over three decades of distinguished service across some of the nation's most demanding investigative roles. He began his career as a beat cop with the New York City Police Department, earning his way into the rank of homicide detective before transitioning to federal service as a Special Agent with the U.S. Department of Justice's Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF). Through exceptional leadership and investigative skill, he rose to the position of Deputy Assistant Director — ultimately serving as the agency's head of training.
Federal and New York State courts have recognized him as an expert witness in historical home invasion robbery investigations, as well as in interviewing and identification techniques.
Mr. Forcelli is also a survivor of the September 11th terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
