LexisNexis Risk Solutions Named SIIA Business CODiE Award Finalist in Two Categories

Identity Access Management and CoplogicTM Desk Officer Reporting System
earn prestigious industry recognition

ATLANTA — LexisNexis® Risk Solutions, a leading provider of data, analytics and technology, today announced that the LexisNexis® ID Compass Platform for Insurance along with the Desk Officer Reporting System (DORS) from its CoplogicTM Solutions business were named 2021 SIIA CODiE Award finalists. Categories for final consideration include Best Identity & Access Management (IAM) Solution and Best Customer Experience in Business Technology in Response to COVID-19. Finalists represent the most impactful initiatives from software, content, media, financial information and educational technology companies.

The LexisNexis ID Compass Platform for Insurance is a modern, multi-layered identity access management (IAM) solution. This platform combines physical and cutting-edge digital intelligence to help insurance carriers respond to identity risk and reduce friction for consumers seeking insurance quotes and other transactions. This allows carriers to elevate the consumer experience and avoid unnecessary risk by identifying and fast-tracking genuine consumers while creating more friction for "bad actors." The result is greater confidence in decision-making with stronger defense for themselves and their customers against cybercriminals and potential fraud.

The Desk Officer Reporting System, which is part of the Coplogic Solutions suite of products for law enforcement, works as a secure community online reporting solution that allows law enforcement agencies to collect minor incident and accident reports from community members electronically 24/7/365. Community members can easily and quickly file their report from any internet-enabled PC or mobile device. The system can also save valuable law enforcement time and resources by taking an unlimited number of incident reports of various types directly from community members, often filed for documentation purposes only. Once the report is approved by the agency, it is automatically imported into an agency's records management system. DORS also provides a way for individuals to make these reports from their homes, which has provided for social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Acknowledged as the premier awards program for the software and information industries for over 35 years, the SIIA CODiE Awards are produced by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal trade association for the software, education, media and digital content industries. Both the LexisNexis ID Compass Platform and DORS were honored among the 153 finalists across the 43 business technology categories, including two categories in response to COVID-19.

"The 2021 CODiE Award finalists continued to innovate, pivot and grow to develop truly remarkable products throughout a historically challenging year. These finalists maintain the vital legacy of the CODIEs in spotlighting the best and most impactful apps, services and products serving the business tech market. Congratulations to this year's finalists on this well-deserved recognition," said Jeff Joseph, SIIA President.

"It's an incredible honor to receive two prestigious nominations and further validate the power our products have to transform the future," said Rutger Van der Wall, SVP, product management, LexisNexis Risk Solutions. "Whether it’s enabling consumers to confirm they are who they say they are with Identity Access Management, or file the reports they need easily while allowing law enforcement officers to focus on community priorities through DORS, our product innovations help organizations make processes seamless and offer benefits to consumers in all aspects of their daily lives."

The SIIA CODiE Awards are the industry's only peer-recognized awards program. Business technology leaders including senior executives, analysts, media, consultants and investors evaluate assigned products during the first-round review. Their scores determine the SIIA CODiE Award finalists which accounts for 80% of the overall score. SIIA members then vote on the finalist products and the scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Business Technology category winners will be announced during an online winner announcement celebration June 22, 2021.
