Why is this important?

In recent years, there has been a much-needed shift in the healthcare industry’s approach to mental health—finally treating it with the same urgency and importance as physical health. This broader recognition, combined with targeted initiatives, is starting to show results. Our data suggests these collective efforts are making an impact, including a measurable increase in the number of mental health providers nationwide. However, progress remains uneven. Many areas continue to face deep gaps in access, underscoring the fact that while momentum is building, the mental health crisis is far from resolved.

To address these ongoing disparities, real-time, reliable provider data is essential. It’s the foundation for identifying underserved regions and helping patients across the country get the care they need—where and when they need it.
